Thanks for the support

Thanks to everyone for your lovely comments. I'm feeling loads better today, and we got to see the family member we've been worried about and their doing well so that has been a huge relief.

When I woke up today had some seriously stiff arms and back, no doubt caused by my impromptu heavy weights workout on Tuesday! I still wanted to get some exercise in so I did my usual Davina Super Sculpt workout, and even though that's more lifting it actually eased a bit of the stiffness (probably from the warm up and cool down stretches)

I had the most gorgeous breakfast, a huge Green Monster made with loads of spinach, a frozen banana, some oats, ground flax, scoop of chocolate whey, tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter and some vanilla rice milk. It tasted delicious! Unfortunately I have just come to upload the pics I have accidentally deleted it! Nevermind, unfortunately I was in such a hurry to get into work I had to rush drinking it while getting ready, so I used an old protein powder shaker cup. I might actually start using that shaker for all of my smoothies as they usually don't fit into a standard glass and I have to keep running back to the kitchen and filling my glass up!

I had another coffee morning for work, this time I had to resist those fondant fancies which wasn't too difficult as they can be a bit too sweet for me. I went home for lunch and had an apple followed by a bowl of leek, potato and sweet potato soup (I had a spare sweet potato to use up! It tastes good put into the usual leek and potato mix)

Me and the Hubby then went to see our family member, I had to go back to work afterwards so I dropped him off and rushed back to work, luckily I had a lovely 9 bar waiting for me!

Its the first time I've tried one and I was very impressed, it is quite a few calories for a snack (about 250 I think) but it fit in well with my other meals today. I worked hard till 7 and then had some homemade chilli and a big salad including the last of the spinach and grated carrot, which I ate at my desk.

I certainly don't want to start getting too used to eating my dinner at work but we have so much on at the moment plus we now get paid overtime I guess working late on a Thursday isn't really too bad. When I got home I decided to finish off the last of my natural yoghurt to stop me from having a cupboard raid!

Nearly the end of the week, yey! So looking forward to the weekend but have so much I need to do. Not so much cooking but I do want to try my hand at making some fuel bars to eat before a big workout. I have loads of recipes that I've taken from various blogs but I think I'm going to just use them for inspiration and try and come up with something of my own. I also really need to sit down and come up with my new training plan. I've already decided to change my rest day to a Friday rather than a Sunday but I need to think about how I'm going to manage to fit everything I would like to do in to the week which includes interval cardio gym workouts, strength training DVD's, my own strength routine in which I can go for heavier weights and fewer reps (so that its different from the DVD's which tend to be the opposite), a run and some yoga! Wish me luck with that one!

Hope everyones having an ok week, and thanks again for the lovely comments xxx
