Recommendations Please!

I started today with my usual Tuesday morning routine - hot water with lemon followed by Davina Top Fit DVD followed by breakie. I made some porridge using a mix of jumbo oats, scottish oats, quinoa flakes, chia seeds and water then mixed in a scoop of vanilla whey and topped with some roasted rhubard (plus loads of sweet orangy syrup from the bottom of the bowl, yum!) and some mixed berries.

Very tasty and filling!

Lunch was last nights leftovers - 2 slices of veggie frittata with salad.

I ate the frittata cold from the fridge and it tasted so much better than last night's when it was warm. I also had some strawberries.

Mid afternoon I snacked on some fromage frais with a little black cherry jam (I buy a jam that is naturally sweetened with fruit juice instead of sugar, I think its called St Dalfour) and few mixed nuts.

Just like a Muller Fruit Corner, but tastier! As I have a bit of a different schedule tomorrow due to work meetings I did my Yoga for Runners a day early. I'm getting better at remembering the order of the poses now! After that I tried one of my new teas from Tea Pigs - Popcorn Tea.

This is a japanese green tea with toasted rice added for that popcorn taste, very nice! Since I love everything green tea I could be buying more of this.

Dinner was spiralised courgette 'pasta' with a quorn mince, yellow pepper and tomato sauce plus a bit of salad on the side.

I'm loving my spiraliser, the hubby was laughing his head off at how excited I was when I was using it! Desert was one of my amazing frozen chocolate nut avocado cups with a chopped apple.

Still bloody amazingly gorgeous!

Today I've been thinking about my trip to Brighton next week and the things I would like to do, and places I would like to go while I'm there. One of the reasons I love Brighton is the range and selection of little unusual shops, you never know what your going to find! Brighton also has plenty of restaurants including vegetarian and vegan places which I would love to try out.

While we are there me and the hubby will probably take a trip up to London - I would like to check out Topshop Oxford Street, Liberty, Gap and Urban Outfitters. I would also like to visit Leon for lunch, Whole Foods to see if I can pick up some hard to find food items and Hummingbird bakery to try a cup cake!

Does anyone who lives in / near / or has visited Brighton or London have any recommendations of places worth a visit? Oh, and while I'm asking for recommendations I want to buy the one magazine I'm allowed with my Big Budget Challenge to read on my journey down there - Have you read any good magazines this month that you think I would enjoy?
