Back on track!

Back at work today and back into my routine. Started the day with Davinas new DVD (the top fit section) it totally killed my arms but I take that as a good sign, really need to tone them up. Rest of day has been -

Breakfast - Blueberry smoothie with oats, skimmed milk and a little natural yoghurt
Lunch - apple and brocolli and cauliflower soup
Snack - two clemintines
Dinner - I'm planning on having steamed chicken breast with steamed broccoli and cabbage with a bit of gravy

Drinks - water, decaf tea, green tea with ginger and lemon and ginger teas

Was trying to work out if I can afford to buy some protein powder when I get paid next week. I used to use promax natural in my smoothies, it made them lovely and creamy and I could see the difference the additional protein in my diet made to my muscles. Hope the finances work out and I can buy some more!

I'm finding that writing this blog is doing a really good job in helping me to focus on things. I was even thinking that I might sign up for the Great North Run this year, as this is a long standing ambition of mine and I think I could finally be fit enough to start training for it when the weather improves x
