Hi guys, now that Bonfire night is out of the way I’m in the mood for Christmas! Last year I coordinated a little UK Bloggers Secret Santa and it was so much fun I thought I would do it again this year!

I did think about making it international but obviously this would dramatically affect postage costs and delivery time, so after a lot of thought I’ve decided to keep it as UK only. Massive apologies to all my international readers, I really hate having to exclude anyone but it seems like this is the most practical way to go. Like wise I considered opening it to non bloggers, however this could have resulted in more people taking part than I could handle, as well as there being no way to ‘secretly’ check out what people may like as a gift by looking at their blog! I also think a nice part of Secret Santa last year was sharing all of our gifts through blog land!

I hate having to exclude readers and especially regular commenter's, and the very last thing I want to do is to make it seem like some kind of ‘bloggers only club’ but for reasons of accountability, it seems like this is the most practical approach so again, big apologies.

I think sticking to similar guidelines as last year is the best way to go:

• I will match you with another blogger and you will be their Secret Santa.
• Check out their blog to get some ideas for what they may like, as well as using the description of likes and dislikes that I will send you.
• I think around £10 (excluding postage and packing) is a reasonable amount to spend.
• Post your gift out no later than Friday 2nd December.
• Receive your gift and blog about it a.s.a.p, emailing me the link to the post so I can do a round up post.
• Don’t forget, this is not a swap so the person you will be buying for will not necessarily be the person buying for you!

One final note, when I did this last year I kept a couple of spare gifts aside in case there where any problems or issues. I can’t afford to do that this year, so please only sign up if you are committed to taking part and with an understanding that any issues will have to be taken up between yourself and the person buying for you (I would supply their contact details in the case of an issue).
