That Friday Feeling!

I am so ready for the weekend, it does not feel like I had a week off just a few days ago!

I've changed my rest days around so I didn't have to drag myself out of bed to the gym this morning, had a nice little lie in. I then did my usual Friday morning weigh in, not expecting too have lost as I've been a hungry hippo, but I had lost 1lb! I'm now only 2lbs away from the lowest I really want to be (1 1/2 stone lower than the goal weight I set back in Jan 2009!), as I think if I go any lower I'll start looking too skinny (now I never thought I'd say that!). I always expect to put on at the moment, especially after that 4 lb gain a few weeks ago, and because I don't really feel like I'm depriving myself too much which is really a good thing. At least this means that I don't have to be afraid of indulging in a little more nut butter or other higher fat / sugar but still healthy stuff!

For breakfast I had a mug of warm water followed by a bowl of porridge made with oats, skimmed milk, a chopped pear, flaked almonds and a couple of spoonfuls of cashew nut butter, yum!

Mid morning snack was two babybel lights and a pear.

Lunch was an apple and some homemade vegetable and lentil soup which was lovely and filling.

Got finished work nice and early at 4 so headed home to do some cleaning so that I wouldn't have to do it over the weekend. Before I got started I had a couple of oranges. I haven't had oranges in ages and these tasted really good.

Dinner was some Thai Green Chicken and Vegetable Curry that I had defrosted with some wholemeal noddles and was gorgeous!

Desert was my last two fudge babies :-(

We've just decided that a glass of red wine is in order to celebrate reaching the end of this crappy week! Plus I might snack on a few dates later on.

Drinks - water, green tea, decaf tea

Exercise - rest day

So what has everyone got planned for the weekend? I'm going to catch up with some friends, think about next weeks meals, get grocery shopping done, plan my new training schedule and then I might have some time to just chill out and veg in front of the tele!
